The Ranking System of Legends Final Combat
The Legends Final Combat ranking system is designed to recognize and reward the most successful and impressive athletes in its competitions.
This ranking concerns exclusively the professional athletes who participate in the event and is renewed on a regular basis, depending on their performance.
How does the ranking system work?
Athletes earn points based on their performance in races, and more specifically for their victory and the type of victory. To move up in the rankings, they must win races and collect points that are added to their overall score.
Similarly, losing does not deduct points, but offers no reward. The ranking does not include ties. In the event of a tie, tied athletes either compete in qualifying matches to determine their position in the rankings or other criteria such as most impressive athlete, knockout, etc. are taken into account.
How points are earned:
Points are calculated based on the type of win and the difficulty of the opponent:
- Victory by KO (Knock Out): 50 points
- Victory by TKO (Technical Knock Out): 40 points
- Victory by decision: 30 points
It is important to note that there are no point bonuses for international opponents. The ranking depends solely on the victory and how it is achieved.
Title Belt System
The athletes who are in the first positions of the ranking, per category, are entitled to claim the Legends Final Combat belt. The top two ranked athletes in each category have the right to compete for the belt.
In the event of a tie, the two tied athletes will face each other in a qualifying match to determine who will have a chance to claim the belt.

Process of defending and claiming the Lengends Final Combat Belt
The advocacy and litigation process is designed to ensure a fair, competitive and exciting environment for athletes and fans. The Belt is not just a title, it is a symbol of excellence and dedication to the sport.
The aim of this system is not only to crown a champion, but to constantly challenge and renew the top position of the best athletes, ensuring the evolution and the high level of the competitions.
1.Conditions for defending and claiming the Belt
• The champion of the category is obliged to defend his belt as soon as the athlete in first place in the ranking gains the right to challenge him.
• The champion is not obliged to compete in every event, but only when the next challenger emerges.
Games to claim the Belt
• If there are 2 contenders, the race for the Belt will be 5 rounds of 3 minutes for men and 5 rounds of 2 minutes for women.
• If there are 4 contenders (4 man tournament), the match includes semi-finals and final, in 3 rounds of 3 minutes for men and the same for women.
Athletes who have not participated in the ranking process
• An athlete cannot compete directly for the Belt if he/she has not previously participated in at least 1 or 2 races of the event.
2. Refusal to Defend or Claim the Belt
• If the Champion refuses to defend his belt without good reason (injury, illness, force majeure), then the belt is declared vacant.
• The top two athletes in the ranking will compete to determine the new champion.
Denial by the First in Ranking
• If the athlete in 1st place refuses to claim the Belt without an obvious reason, he/she will be relegated to the last place in the ranking.
• Claiming the belt goes to the next available athlete who qualifies.
Repeated Denial
• If an athlete repeatedly refuses to defend or claim the Belt without sufficient reasons, he is reset and removed from the ranking and replaced by another athlete
3. Unstated Factors and Unpredictable Scenarios
In such cases :
• Postponement of a Match due to Injury or Illness
• If the champion or the challenger cannot compete due to injury, the organisation may postpone the defence if there is a medical certificate. (THE ORGANISATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONFIRM ANY MEDICAL OPINION THROUGH ITS OWN DOCTOR))
• If the athlete cannot compete within 6 months theBelt is declared vacant and the new contenders take over the Belt.
Withdrawal from the Ranking
If the champion or the first in the ranking permanently withdraws from the event, the Belt becomes vacant and is claimed by the next two in the ranking.
4. Joint Agreement for Athlete Return
• The representative of the organisation.
• The athlete's representative.
• The return is examined by the organizing committee, which takes the final decision.
5. Protocol in case of an overweight athlete at weigh-in
1. Immediate Update & Correction Deadline
The athlete and his/her team are immediately informed of the following:
- He has 1 hour to repeat the weighing and reach the weight limit.
- The athlete may make weight loss efforts (e.g. light training, sauna) without leaving the venue.
2. Second Weighing & Consequences- If within the time limit the weight falls within the permissible limit (+0.5 kg) → The match is carried out as normal.
- If he remains overweight, then:
- Up to +2 kg: The fight is normal, but the overweight athlete pays 25% of his fee to his opponent.
- Over +2 kg: The athlete is disqualified and the race is not held.
Important clarifications
- The organization is not responsible if the match is cancelled due to an overweight athlete.
- The overweight athlete may be subject to further sanctions (e.g. disqualification from future events and any other sanctions decided by the organisation).
6. Rules and Procedures for Legends Final Combat Rankings
- When an athlete changes weight category, they do not retain the ranking they had in the previous category.
- In order to gain a place in the new ranking, a athelete must compete at least once in the new category.
2. Disputed Match Results
- If a match ends in a split decision where the difference between the judges is extreme (e.g. 30-27 for one, 28-29 for the other), the result may be reviewed.
- If there is a clear objection from the losing team, an immediate rematch may be considered if possible.
- In case of disagreement on the decision, the loser of the match will not be dropped in the rankings, so as not to be unfair.
3. Objections Procedure
- Athletes have the right to appeal their ranking within 48 hours of the publication of the rankings.
- Objections are submitted in writing to the organisation and are examined by an independent committee.
- The committee may ask for match analysis, statistics or referees' opinion to make a decision.
- The decision of the Committee shall be final and irrevocable.
